When I first began working with clay, it was more than just learning a craft—it was a deeply spiritual experience. Pottery, for me, became a way to connect with something greater than myself. It felt like a profound connection where the mind, body, and spirit aligned in perfect harmony. 

The name Ethereal Alclayme reflects this transformative process. The word “Ethereal” speaks to the spiritual, almost otherworldly experience I felt as I worked with clay—like an unseen energy guiding my hands. “Alclayme” is a play on the word “alchemy,” symbolizing the magical transformation that occurs when raw clay becomes a work of art. Just as alchemy is the process of turning something ordinary into something extraordinary, pottery, for me, is a journey of self-discovery and creation.

Through pottery, I’ve learned that the process itself is an alchemy—a way to transform not just clay, but also myself. Each piece tells a story of growth, patience, and personal connection.
